Sunday, January 4, 2026: Safety Prayer and First Rowing
This year, a safety prayer was held on January 4th. The chairman recited the "Safety Pledge," and all the boatmen began this year's rowing with renewed determination.
This was followed by the traditional Japanese drumming performance and sumo chants.
